Situated along Bachman Creek in Dallas, the Watauga Residence was designed to embrace the mature landscape and natural character of its setting. A series of intimate courtyards were carefully organized around existing mature trees, preserving the established canopy while creating strong connections between the architecture and landscape. At the pool, a cantilevered deck extends toward the creek corridor, maximizing views and creating a dramatic connection to the wooded surroundings. Together, the spaces create a refined landscape that feels both contemporary and established, shaped by the unique qualities of the site.
