Preston Parkway is a modern residence that exudes a sense of luxury in the heart of Dallas. The challenge was to preserve the existing majestic live oaks and cedar elms while creating beautiful outdoor rooms and gardens that integrate visually with the architecture.
Modern elements extend into the landscape by way of private courtyards and terraces, which lead to vast open lawns and features that mirror the bold, modern feel of the dwelling. A swimming pool, site walls, elegant lawns and custom planters are deliberate compositions of precise geometry and intimate detailing, emphasized with a curated plant palette that creates a balanced visual.
The hardscape materials used in the project are Italian limestone, bronze, and gravel so that courtyards, terraces, and landscape features are congruent with the contemporary design of the home. The forms and proportions of the Preston Parkway landscape are clean, powerful, and timeless.
