The five-star Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel will be the first of its kind in Accra, Ghana. The hotel is set to be the centerpiece of a public-private partnership project with an integrated mixed-use hospitality facility. Covering an area of 35 acres, it will include residential apartments, retail space, an exhibition centre, offices, and government buildings. The hotel is centered around a central courtyard that ties the interior design with the exterior landscape design. MESA created a crisp modern look with a clean contemporary design by using natural stone and wood. The front entry and motor court features a central fountain that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for the guests. The pool deck features a 27-foot water wall which connects the upper pool deck to the lower courtyard.
