The privileged site for the CityStars project is located on the northern end of the coastal development strip. It characterizes the territorial development model of the city of Sharm el Sheikh in the Sinai peninsula, Egypt, and is limited on the northern side by the presence of a nature preserve with a mangrove area. The site stretches from the mountains to the sea providing great opportunities of views and a stunning natural background.
MESA has designed the master plan for this 750 Ha residential and mixed-use development (touristic, retail, sports, leisure and cultural). The master plan outlines a system of open spaces including two world-class golf courses and a series of water bodies to be built with cutting-edge “crystal lagoons” technology, allowing for sailing, swimming and practice of water sports all around the development.
