The 600-acre community of Chisholm Trail Ranch is located in southwest Fort Worth, Texas. MESA worked with the Developer to create a neighborhood lotting design that integrated the residential lots, an elementary school site, and a community amenity center into the site. The project was already entitled and had design guidelines that needed to be followed. The property has a significant amount of topography; therefore, MESA’s land plan integrated the road alignments into the existing topography to reduce construction costs. MESA developed the landscape and hardscape designs of the community entry features, amenity center, and streetscape. Construction started in the fall of 2015 and MESA is continuing their design involvement in the next phases.
