The Peters Colony Memorial Park master plan is an embodiment of the collaborative efforts between the Town of Flower Mound, its residents, and MESA to create a meaningful and lasting memorial park. A metaphorical design approach was selected to convey a complex abstraction of the Town’s heritage and identity. The memorial park presents itself as a true community space, supporting a range of somber and celebratory emotions, without restricting visitors to a predefined interpretation of the space.
