Oak Court

Oak Court is a 1957 International Style residence in Dallas designed by Edward Durrell Stone and Thomas Church. MESA was commissioned to revamp the grounds and worked for three years in collaboration with the architect and client on research, restoration, and renovations. Highlights of the new work include separate men’s and women’s courtyards, a Fernando Botero sculpture in a crushed granite motor court, a pool integrated into a structural wall of the house, custom planters and benches, and outdoor entertaining spaces.
