Centennial Park

Centennial Park creates a city memorial within a forested greenway. The master plan developed the park to react to surrounding architectural influences, yet have its own identity as part of the civic park core of Irving. This park contains several different elements; such as the Founder’s Plaza Memorial, the Arrival Plaza, the Pavilion and Light Tower, and the Log Cabin. The trail and walkways throughout the park connect all of these elements in a meaningful way. The hike and bike trail system will eventually connect this park to the Veterans Memorial, a local school, and several other parks.
